Our Students' Wellbeing
As We Rise Foundation is dedicated to aiding young girls not only in their educational pursuits and future careers, but also in creating a nuturing and inclusive environment that fosters curiosity, growth and strength.

This is how we rise.
Physical wellbeing

Not only will As We Rise have more "classical" courses like math, history, and language, but also ones that will target any questions and information the girls will need to understand their physical needs for example, navigating puberty with trusted female mentors with any supplies needed. The course will be dedicated to teaching them about women’s mental and physical health, broaching culturally “taboo” topics so that they can better learn and understand their physical needs.
Mental/emotional wellbeing

We will provide emotional support learning, with classes teaching girls about stress and how their bodies might handle it differently than what is taught at home or culturally (broaching culturally "taboo" subjects that are needed for their growth as young women).
In addition to this support learning, we will have a counselor as well as teaching aids, and student volunteers from local universities, that will serve a “big sister” role to help girls with any extra support they might need mentally as well as academically.
Social wellbeing
With volunteers the same age in the United States and Pakistan, we aim to create a united network of young women to discuss their struggles, aspirations, and everything in between. Most importantly, how we can help ease their struggles and aid their aspirations.
We plan to encourage the girls to share their aspirations by making videos or, based on their level, writing so we can share with volunteers in Pakistan and the US and vice versa and create a network of women who uplift each other.
